Accessibility Statement

Effective October 1, 2026

Palmstone wants everyone to be able to use our website and reach our team easily. That includes people with disabilities and the older adults and family caregivers we serve.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium explain how to make websites easier to use for people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Our approach

Our approach includes:

  • writing in plain language
  • describing meaningful images and renderings in text
  • adding captions to videos with spoken content
  • making sure the site works with a keyboard and with screen readers
  • checking color contrast and text sizing
  • reviewing new pages before we publish them

Current status

We believe the site partially meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we’re working on these known limitations:

  • Some videos may not yet have captions or transcripts.
  • Embedded videos and social media content come from third parties, such as Vimeo, Facebook, and Instagram, and may not fully meet our standard.
  • Some photos and renderings may not yet have detailed text descriptions.

Getting help or giving feedback

If any part of the site is hard to use, please tell us. We’ll get you the information another way, such as by phone, by email, or in large print by mail.

Please tell us which page you were on and what went wrong.

Visiting us

If you need an accommodation to visit our construction office, or the home once it opens, let us know when you schedule. The home is being built to meet state and federal accessibility requirements.

Ongoing review

We review the site’s accessibility at least once a year and whenever we make major changes. This statement was last reviewed on October 1, 2026.
