The Care Model
Why our staffing changes everything.
Most large memory care facilities operate with far fewer caregivers per resident. Palmstone has three care staff on duty during the day for 16 residents — a nurse manager and two CNA caregivers — plus a private chef, so the care team can focus on residents instead of the stove. That difference shows up everywhere — unhurried mornings, meals cooked in front of residents, medication given by someone who knows exactly how your mom takes her coffee. And caregivers are in the home around the clock, so the person answering a 3 a.m. call knows every resident by name.
With only 16 residents in the entire home, our team doesn’t manage a wing or a hallway — they care for a household.

Memory care pricing is often a moving target — a base rate plus escalating “care level” fees as needs grow. Palmstone is different: Our opening monthly rate of $11,000 covers the private suite, all personal and dementia care from our team, three meals a day plus snacks, activities, housekeeping, and laundry.
